“Made in Sardinia” pizza arrives in the United Kingdom. British palates will be surprised by creations by the award-winning pizza chef Emy Scarpa, who is preparing to reach London with her “King Charles” and “Queen Elisabeth” . Created on the occasion of the coronation of King Charles III and in memory of the late Queen Elizabeth, they will be the protagonists of " The Italian show ", the format designed to promote Italian supply chains and products on international markets scheduled for 19 September.

The event at the Royal Horticultural Halls, at 4.30pm. Scarpa will be supported in the preparation live by the Oristano maestro Giovanni Cauli. The suitcase will not miss the flag of the 4 Moors, which «we will carry as a symbol of our identity and love for our land», confesses the chef. The sumptuous King Charles is characterized by a rich base, garnished with sheep's mozzarella and embellished with a crown of bread, finely decorated by hand.

For the creation of the jewel, decorated with fine embroidery and inlaid with pearls, she availed herself of the collaboration of a master of artistic bread, Graziella Frau , from Siniscola. In London Emy Scarpa will also bring her version of “su mustazzeddu”, a typical focaccia from Sulcis Iglesiente.
