One of three missing people who have not been heard of since last Thursday was found when Colorado was devastated by a series of fires that destroyed nearly 2,500 acres of vegetation and destroyed homes and shops in Boulder County. Two people are still missing, one of whom is a 91-year-old whose family was stranded due to the fires. The old woman, according to Sheriff Joe Pelle, was unlikely to get to safety.

Heavy snowfall over the Boulder area helped bring the flames under control. But it is the snow now that is hindering rescuers' searches.
