The United States and China have confirmed that the fragment of the Chinese Long March rocket landed in an area near the coastal city of Bintulu, Malaysia, yesterday evening.

The space debris of the Long March 5B, indicated by the acronym CZ-5B-Y3, is part of the rocket that on July 24th had brought the second module of the Chinese Space Station into orbit.

In recent days, the alarm was also raised in Italy for the possibility that the fragment would impact within the borders.
