The disruptions linked to the cyber attack on the baggage check-in and boarding system that hit the airports of Brussels, Berlin and Heathrow continue.
Numerous delays were reported this morning, with airlines operating at Brussels Airport already announcing the cancellation of 44 of the 257 scheduled flights, according to an airport spokesperson.
Additional staff have been mobilized, but issues will continue to impact operations, with manual check-in still required.
The airport is therefore expecting long wait times and delays. For this reason, the airport website, as it did yesterday, urges passengers to check the status of their flight with their airline before arriving at the airport, to arrive at the airport only if their flight is confirmed, and to check in online in advance.
