An Italian entrepreneur is the protagonist of a story that made it possible to save Fiona, who on the web is defined as "the loneliest sheep in the world". In fact, for two years she had been imprisoned on a rock in the Scottish flowers of the Cromarty Firth, north of Inverness.

Edoardo L'Astorina, a computer scientist from Modena who has lived in London for many years, launched a petition through Change.org and, thanks to the 25 thousand signatures collected in four days, managed to organize the rescue expedition.

The initiative, after being shared in tabloids such as the Daily Star and the Daily Mail, attracted the attention of some local "farmers" who organized themselves and went to recover Fiona last Saturday; the operation lasted a few hours.

The sheep was moved to a farm, Dalscone Farm, in a small village called Dumfries.
