The United Nations peacekeeping force UNIFIL announced that the Israeli army opened fire this morning near the Blue Line, which separates Lebanon from Israel and the Golan Heights, slightly wounding a peacekeeper, in two separate incidents in southern Lebanon.
The Times of Israel reports. According to the UN peacekeeping force, fire from IDF troops positioned south of the Blue Line hit a UNIFL patrol inspecting a checkpoint in the village of Bastarra. The explosion and gunfire caused a peacekeeper to suffer a minor concussion.
