An unusual reason, according to reports from Ansa, forces a Delta flight from Atlanta to Barcelona to make an emergency landing: "Biological risk problem", as reported by the American media, quoting an audio fragment of the pilot released on social media.

Translated: it was an unfortunate passenger struggling with a violent intestinal problem who made the plane turn back with about two hours left before landing. Also according to the audio, the passenger was unable to contain himself and consequently they were in the cabin

"Faeces and unbearable stench," a passenger told El Mundo.

«It's a biohazard problem», says the pilot during the radio conversation with the control tower, « we have a passenger who has been ill and we are being asked to turn back».

In a statement, Delta cited an onboard medical issue and confirmed that Flight 194 from Atlanta to Barcelona had returned to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
