In Tyrol, Austria, an 18 -year-old German citizen committed suicide by jumping off a bridge after killing his 17-year-old girlfriend .

The tragic event took place yesterday in Reutte .

The boy drove to the home of the young Tyrolean and together they then went to a parking lot in the Ausserfern, a mountain area. There, the 18-year-old allegedly killed his girlfriend with several blows to the chest. In the car, the investigators found a switchblade .

After the crime, around 8.30 pm, the young man then reached a nearby suspension bridge , a tourist attraction, 114 meters high and with a span of over 400 meters, to throw himself into the void. The suicide was noticed by a hiker who raised the alarm.

Arriving at the scene, the police discovered the girl's body in the parked car.
