An entire family was kidnapped and killed in California.

The lifeless bodies of Aarohi Dheri, an 8-month-old baby, her parents Jasleen Kaur and Jasdeep Singh, and uncle Amandeep Singh were found by police on a farm.

The four had been kidnapped on Monday in Mercedes, a town between Modesto and Fresno. The police began to investigate when they found a vehicle belonging to the victims' transport company: it had been burned.

48-year-old Jesus Manuel Salgado was arrested for the kidnapping and murders . "There is a place in hell for this person," Sheriff Vern Warnke said.

The man had already been in prison for nearly ten years for robbery and drug possession.
