The first free all in the European Union arrives in Denmark. And it comes with the wave of Omicron still growing, but a health situation under control thanks to the success of the vaccination campaign and the nearing peak of infections according to experts.

60% of the Danish population received the booster, compared to an EU average of 45%. And vaccines, according to a Danish study, are even more effective against the sub-variant BA.2 in slowing its transmission.

All elements that convinced the Copenhagen government to eliminate the residual restrictions, such as the obligation to wear a mask and vaccination pass and the time limits for bars and restaurants. The only recommendation to "responsible" behavior remains.

Denmark, like Great Britain, therefore, while France is also starting to relax its restrictions while not reaching the free all.

Even Norway, premier Jonas Gahr Stoere announced, will revoke most of the restrictive measures, because the spread of infections is not putting the health system at risk.

Restaurants will be able to return to serving alcohol after 11pm, smart working will no longer be mandatory in the sectors in which it was envisaged and the current limit of 10 people for meetings in private homes will also be removed.

However, the recommendation to maintain social distancing remains and the possibility remains of a reintroduction of the measures in the future in case of need, the Norwegian premier specified.
