Tense moments at the Knesset, Israel's parliament, where a brawl broke out between security guards and members of the October Council, which represents survivors of October 7, former hostages and families of victims of the conflict with Hamas.

The incident occurred when security prevented a Council delegation from accessing the plenary session's guest gallery. According to local press reports, the guards pushed and shoved protesters at the base of a staircase leading to the gallery, sparking a scuffle that left at least two people injured.

A debate was scheduled in parliament on the opposition's call to establish a state commission of inquiry into the October 7 massacre. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was forced to attend the session and respond to the failure to establish the commission, despite 17 months of war.
