«Either you pay or I sell the data of 400 million users». It is the threat of a hacker addressed to Elon Musk which arrived on December 24 and which, according to the cyber security company Hudson Rock, is "credible".

The data theft would date back to early 2022.

The hacker, who calls himself Ryushi, said that if he gets the requested sum from the Twitter CEO, he will delete all the stolen data.

Meanwhile, Musk himself has announced in these hours that 100 Starlink satellites, the service of his company Space X, are operational in Iran. Three months ago he anticipated his intention to activate the service "to promote freedom of access to the Internet and the free flow of information" for Iranians.
