67 journalists killed in 2025: "Almost half in the Gaza Strip"

67 journalists have been killed worldwide in one year, almost half of them in the Gaza Strip "under fire from Israeli forces."
Reporters Without Borders announced this in its annual report published today.
«The number of journalists killed (from December 1, 2024 to December 1, 2025) has risen again, due to the criminal practices of regular and non-regular armed forces and organized crime» , explains the association according to which «journalists do not die, they are killed».
The report also notes that there are currently 503 journalists detained worldwide . «The world's largest prison for journalists is still China (121), with Russia (48) in second place , which holds more foreign journalists than any other state: 26 Ukrainians. Myanmar (47) is in third place».
