The MUSE Design Awards is an international competition dedicated to recognizing outstanding and original design work from around the world. With a mission to honor, celebrate and elevate exceptional design innovators, MUSE also serves as a key stage to discover emerging stars in architecture, interior design, product design, landscape design, lighting, furniture and fashion globally.
In the case of Tenute Gregu, the packaging becomes a real visual narrative: the family monogram at the center of the design is not a simple ornament, but a symbol that encompasses the history and identity of the winery . The design created by Redfish Adv brings with it the colors, shapes and materials that not only enhance the elegance of the product, but project it into international markets, captivating a demanding public.
"The packaging in this project is not just a graphic design but a contribution to the heritage of styles and culture of the Island that tells . Each bottle reveals a piece of history, a fragment of memory in the Gregu family, brought to the world through design", this is the motivation with which the international jury of the Muse Design Awards 2024 awarded the prestigious Silver Award.
The reference to the uniqueness of the graphic design was linked to the particularity of the product. One of the three wines that were the object of the graphic study, the Pitraia, obtained with Vermentino di Gallura grapes (late harvest) and with careful processing, has just won the Tre Bicchieri del Gambero Rosso.
An award that highlights how design becomes a true tool for internationalization for local products. Redfish's challenge is not only to create an elegant label, but to make the product an ambassador for Sardinia in the world. "The project was intended to be a tribute to the history of the Gregu family - says Giovanni Murgia, creative director of Redfish - We wanted to create exclusive packaging, rich in meaning; a symbol of elegance and tradition. The color choices, materials and refined workmanship are designed to position these wines in the high end of the market, conquering the palates and eyes of the most demanding enthusiasts".
