A virtual bridge between Sardinia and Japan is what will unite the two geographical realities on October 19th. Starting at 11.30 am Italian time, the Tokyo “Isola” club will present the project to promote Sardinian culture in Japan.

The island is one of the most exclusive tourist destinations in Europe but so far there have been few opportunities to present it to the Japanese public.

The idea of the Japan Sardinia online museum will be exhibited in presence at the Urban Tech Hall, third floor, of Kogakuin University, and via the internet.

These are the themes of the conference: “On the exhibition” (Toshihiko Suzuki, Professor of Kogakuin University, Director of the Japan Sardinia Online Museum); “Sardinian architecture and culture” (Emiliano Cappellini, from Sardinia); “The cult of sacred waters in Sardinia” (Hidenobu Jinnai, professor at the Hosei University); “Sardinia: the mysterious island of stone” (Terunobu Fujimori, specially appointed professor at Kogakuin University); "On Sardinia and Japan" (Giovanni Piliarvu, President of the Sardinia Japan Association).
