Jessica Meloni and Michela Demontis, both Sassari athletes, bring home a great result by climbing on the highest step of national Muay Thai. Belonging to the Tarantini Fight Club team, they both won the title of Italian champions at the finals of the absolute national championships that took place at the Palatine Hill in Rome.

Jessica Meloni won the title in the 51 kg category, beating rival Cristina Giavara in the final, in a match dominated in all three rounds. Michela Demontis instead won the final by abandonment: her match against Elena Cadoni has not even begun because her rival did not appear in the ring.
