The mural created in Tirana by the Sardinian artist Fabio Schirru, known as Tellas, depicts the two shores of the Adriatic Sea and represents the close bond of friendship between Italy and Albania.

The work, which is located on one side of a four-story building, was presented yesterday and is part of the activities and cultural events within the framework of the Week of Italy.

«The Adriatic has historically been an important space, a point of interconnection between two countries with different traditions. Two countries divided, but at the same time united by the sea», explained Tellas.

At the presentation ceremony, in addition to the Italian ambassador in Albania Fabrizio Bucci, also the Albanian Minister of Culture Elva Margariti.
