The sound stones of Pinuccio Sciola arrive in Prague. A selection of works by the artist from San Sperate who died in 2016 will be exhibited in the capital of the Czech Republic thanks to the Italian Cultural Institute and with the availability of the Foundation named after Sciola.

The exhibition "My time has no time", designed by the architect Pierandrea Angius, will be open from 8 September to 8 October in the baroque chapel of the Cultural Institute, and is part of the multidisciplinary project "Sardinia. L ' island of wonders ", sponsored by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, in collaboration with Enit - Italian National Agency for Tourism, CAMIC and the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The sound stones are sculptures that, while taking up the shapes of Sardinian prehistoric megalithism, speak a modern language, through symmetrical intersections of lines, geometric volumes, abstract shapes that play with the relationship between art and nature, form and content, idea and matter. The sound properties of the sculptures are achieved by applying parallel incisions on the rock. And they generate different sounds depending on the density of the stone and the engraving.
