Politicians, professionals and representatives of Sardinian emigrants will meet in Geneva for a conference on the enhancement of the island's territorial cultural heritage in Europe.

The appointment is for 25 September at the Université Ouvrière room, Place des Grottes 3, starting at 7pm.

It will be an opportunity to take a journey through the culture, history and landscape of Sardinia: places such as the Regional Park of Porto Conte and that of Asinara, the ancient Phoenician-Punic city of Nora and the Nuragic village of Barumini.

After the institutional greetings and the introduction to the project - with speeches by Alessandra Zedda, councilor for Labor, Training, Professional, Cooperation and Social Security of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia; Antonio Mura, president of the Federation of Sardinian Clubs in Switzerland ; Lorenzina Zuddas, president of the Sardinian Regional Association Circle of Geneva - there will be the presentation of the project "Enhancement of the territorial cultural heritage of Sardinia in the European context", with Domenico Scala, honorary president of the Federation of Sardinian clubs in Switzerland; Federico Piras, researcher at the University of Sassari; Alessandra Nieddu, biologist-nutritionist; Leonardo Canonico, administrator of Fides Consulta Gmbh. A debate with the public and the final summary will follow.

The evening will be enlivened by the ethnomusical group "Cuncordias" with launeddas, accordion and accordion.
