He had been robbed shortly before leaving and was therefore unable to travel or contact his family.

This is what happened to the 34-year-old from Sorso whose traces had been lost last Sunday in London before boarding the plane that was supposed to bring him back to Sardinia .

The disappearance had been reported on social networks by his sister, but fortunately this morning the happy ending: the young man got in touch with the family, telling what happened.

"He said he was attacked and robbed in London by a group of criminals who took away documents, money, telephone and credit cards , so he was unable to take the plane and return to Sardinia", explains the lawyer. Fabio Fadda, who assists the family.

"He is fine, he has not suffered any injuries, he has managed to return to Leeds where he lives and works and only today has he been able to contact his family again. Now we will go to Leeds to pick him up and bring him home."

The 34-year-old had gone to London last Sunday, slept in a hostel and then at 4 am caught a National Express bound for Stansted Airport. Here he would have had to board the flight to Bologna and then to Alghero . Which he did not do, alarming the family. His phone had been found on the bus and handed over to the lost property office.
