For the first time, the display case containing Giovanni Falcone's escort car, the armored Croma, in which the Palermo judge was traveling together with his wife, Francesca Morvillo, on the day of the Capaci massacre, May 23, 1992, arrives in Sardinia.
The remains of the car, which has the code name of the escort, namely Quarto Savona Quindici, to remember the officers killed in the attack - Antonio Montinaro, Rocco Di Cillo and Vito Schifani - will be exhibited for three days in three different Sardinian cities: Cagliari, Sassari and Oristano.
The initiative is part of the project "From Spilled Blood to Donated Blood" which involves the State Police and Firefighters in the field to raise awareness of young people and citizens about the legality and culture of blood donation.
