Upcoming renovation works in the dilapidated headquarters of the Pirri medical guard, in via Santa Maria Chiara. So the transfer is triggered: from today the service is guaranteed "provisionally", according to the ASL, in the rooms on the ground floor of Pavilion G, to the citadel of Health in via Romagna 16 , in Cagliari ”.

"This move is part of the policy of the local health authority which pays particular attention to the services that work on the front line and which have direct and daily contact with patients and which, therefore, must offer increasingly appropriate and quality services" , explains Marcello Tidore, CEO of the Cagliari healthcare company.

"We are starting from the structures that present the most critical issues" , he adds, "in a path that will see the restructuring and modernization, in the future, of other health structures to ensure greater comfort for both health workers and patients".

The structure of pavilion G, with entrance from via Romagna, is equipped with a large clinic where two doctors on duty will operate, a waiting room for patients, two rooms for the rest of the doctors, and two services dedicated to one for operators. and one to patients.

Outside, in the car park for users, there are ambulance stations, a car park for the disabled and parking spaces for doctors.

The medical guard will work every weekday, from 8 pm to 8 am; the days before holidays from 10 to 8 (the next day) and holidays with 24 hours.

The service remains available for drug prescriptions, outpatient visits and home visits (for citizens residing in Pirri and Monserrato).
