Starting next winter, Wizz Air will introduce two new flights from Cagliari to Milan Malpensa and Venice Marco Polo . The first route will operate twice daily, starting December 14, while to and from Venice will operate daily from December 14.

The airline also announces the opening of a new airport in Cagliari, which is part of a growth path that Wizz Air has been pursuing in Sardinia since 2013, strengthening its presence over the years, particularly at the airports of Alghero and Olbia.

During the summer, the airline operates flights from Alghero to Tirana, Sofia, Budapest, Skopje, Warsaw, Bucharest, and Belgrade, as well as Venice. From Olbia, Wizz Air connects Sardinia with three national and international destinations: Milan Malpensa, Rome Ciampino, and Warsaw Chopin.
