This morning, around 4am, a scooter crashed into a car. The accident occurred in Viale Marconi, near the Lidl supermarket.
The driver of the two-wheeled vehicle tested positive for the alcohol test and reported for driving under the influence of alcohol. On examination, the 55-year-old from Quartu had an alcohol level 4 times higher than the permitted limit. The Honda scooter, without insurance, was impounded.
According to an initial reconstruction, he tried to overtake the Punto but hit the car sideways and finally fell to the ground.
The local police of Cagliari intervened on the spot for the reliefs and an ambulance to help the injured.
