Cagliari, tragic discovery: man found dead at home

It was the neighbors, alarmed by the smell coming from the house, who called the firefighters and the police: after opening the door of the apartment they found the lifeless body of a 59-year-old man, a pensioner from Cagliari. A death, as emerged from the initial investigations, which apparently occurred three days ago from a cardiovascular crisis.

The tragic discovery was made this morning, around 10:30, on Via Monte Acuto, in the San Michele neighborhood. Firefighters from the Viale Marconi barracks and Carabinieri from the Cagliari company responded to the scene. There were no signs of violence on the body.

The magistrate on duty was informed of the incident and, once the investigations were completed, the body was expected to be returned to the family.
