With his leg crushed by a crane truck, worker injured in Sassari

A 50-year-old worker, who works for a construction company in Sassari, was injured in the leg, squeezed between the crane truck of the company he works for and a parked car.
The accident occurred in via Sorso, and after the work vehicle, perhaps due to a brake failure, set off on its own.
The worker, who had just unloaded some equipment from the truck, tried to get back on board the vehicle to re-activate the handbrake, but didn't make it in time. The truck crashed into a Fiat 500 parked a few meters away, crushing his leg.
The carabinieri of the Company of Sassari arrived on the spot, and an ambulance of 118 who gave the first treatment to the worker and then accompanied him to the Santissima Annunziata hospital.
His health conditions are not serious.
Carabinieri and inspectors of the Sassari Spresal are at work to reconstruct the facts and ascertain any responsibility.
