«Hands off the Sardinian ports». The committees are back in the field and are denouncing «the military occupation of the maritime ports of Cagliari and Oristano ». Instead of working for a general relaunch of the canal port and the Oristano dock, the possibility of seeing them transformed into logistical bases for the construction and (in the case of Cagliari) the movement of wind turbines and blades, seems anything but unfounded . So much so that now the movements are threatening to file lawsuits.

TWO HYPOTHESES – The first fears were raised by the unions no later than a few days ago, worried about the consequences that this change of direction could have on the future of workers. In Cagliari, Bentu de Libertadi has taken a stand. With the lawyer Michele Zuddas, this week, the association will ask for access to the documents to have, in particular, «all the documents relating to the concession requested by the Incom company» , which would like to establish itself at the canal port. In Oristano, however, the Presidio del Popolo sardo is protesting the use of an area close to the industrial port as a construction site for the construction of wind turbines and blades . The initial investment, by Seawind Italia, srl which is part of a Dutch company, is said to be 380 million.

As for the canal port, warnings or legal action cannot be ruled out "if profiles of environmental violation, abuse of concession or lack of public consultation were to emerge" . "The defense of work cannot be used as a Trojan horse to justify speculative operations", the clarification.
