Fifty-one children were turned away from the nursery school on Via Verdi, in Sestu . Parents decided to do so to protest the closure of the school on Via Laconi , which did not have enough students to open.

Hence the move to Via Verdi, but the parents disagree. "This location is too old and far away," Martina Matta says among themselves. "We had chosen Via Laconi because of its proximity and because it's a modern facility. Instead, we were informed at the last minute."

The parents hung a protest sign in front of the school gate on Via Verdi and decided not to let their children enter for three days. "Then we'll evaluate how to continue our protest," explains Carla Falchi.
