The committees' raid on the Alas wind farm between Ittiri and Villanova Monteleone , overlooking the Grifone Valley, was a veritable blitz. The company responsible for building the wind farm was caught operating with heavy equipment during a period of severe restrictions to protect the nesting of protected species . In this case, the griffon vulture , precisely, in a repopulation oasis where a miracle of nature occurred.

Three weeks ago, the Committees denounced the silence (including that of the judiciary) regarding the first concrete foundations. A wind farm consisting of ten sixty-six megawatt steel giants will be built in the valley.

According to the committees, in creating these foundations, the RWE company is exaggerating the noise produced by the concrete pouring vehicles. Furthermore, the permit prohibits any work involving significant noise. Indeed, at the Alas construction site, where the wind farm is planned, this should be a time for work that does not disturb nesting and breeding birds. Maria Grazia Demontis of the Gallura Committee and Emilio Demuro of the Sarcidano Committee point out: "This type of noise impact and this type of vehicle movement cannot occur between April and June. We met with the Carabinieri to stop the work, which in our view is illegal."
