Hundreds of farmers and breeders under the prefectures of all of Sardinia against the wild fauna that devastates the crops . Millions of euros in damages, according to Coldiretti .

«We are not against animals, we raise them - said the regional secretary Luca Saba from the Cagliari garrison - But let those who are against the containment provided for by law come and collect what is no longer there because it has been destroyed by wildlife . Regional coordination is needed to truly address an increasingly serious problem: we must not waste time."

Wild boars, deer, crows, nutrias, cormorants. «The climatic effects are not enough - recalls Giorgio Demurtas , president of Coldiretti Cagliari - every day Sardinian farmers and breeders have to notice crop losses and damage on the farm after the passage of these animals: it's time to intervene, the very safety of motorists on the roads is at stake roads".

Alarm also in Oristano . Especially for wild boars , in the last 5 years alone, compensation of 226 thousand euros has been paid (compared to over 348 thousand euros in total for all damage caused by wildlife) or approximately 82% compared to 18% from other animals.
