Carasau bread is the forty-first best in the world . Or at least this is what the ranking of TasteAtlas says, a portal and gastronomic guide that, from time to time, gives some rankings to its readers. In the past he had included Sardinian pecorino among the best cheeses on the planet.
Now the time has come to choose the perfect bread. In first place, roti canai from Malaysia stands out, an exceptional leavened product which, after being fried, is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Among Italians, however, the record goes to the Recco focaccia with cheese , one of the musts of Ligurian cuisine, which is in sixth place in the world ranking.
Scrolling through the ranking, other compatriots appear: ninth bread in the world, the piadina from Romagna, in thirteenth place is the focaccia from Bari, in sixteenth place is chickpea farinata and in twenty-fifth place is the focaccia from Genoa. Then, in forty-first place in the world, here is the carasau.
