The mayor of Sassari Giuseppe Mascia intervenes after the umpteenth inconveniences experienced by the city , between yesterday and today, due to the lack of water.
«At the end of the remote task force between Enas, Abbanoa and the Municipality, activated to deal with the emergency, the competent bodies are taking steps to guarantee the water supply, after the necessary checks by the relevant authorities, through the Cuga reserves», explains the mayor.
Mascia applauds the dialogue undertaken with Enas and Abbanoa in the last few hours which «has allowed us to re-establish a necessary climate of collaboration, which is essential to allow local administrators to be adequately and promptly updated on the interventions in progress and on emergencies, so as to be able to share all information with the communities of reference, which in the last few days have experienced a truly intolerable situation».
The hope now is that we will proceed with the planning of "those interventions that have been postponed for decades and can no longer be postponed, so as to find structural solutions to a condition of denial of a primary and inalienable good such as water". "From here - concludes the mayor - the discussion already scheduled with Enas and Abbanoa for Wednesday 30 April in Sassari, at Palazzo Ducale will begin".
