The forecast is worsening in view of the low pressure system expected to affect Sardinia today, Tuesday 20 October.

Yesterday, the regional civil protection agency issued a standard (yellow) alert, primarily affecting the Sassari area, the south, and the southern regions (Oristano and Gallura were excluded). Today, the offices on Via Biasi issued an orange warning for the entire Sassari area, while the hydrogeological risk of storms was marked yellow for the rest of Sardinia.

The possibility of phenomena, even intense ones, is hypothesized until midnight.

For the same period, the Civil Protection Department of the Municipality of Cagliari has published the rules of conduct applicable to the residents of the Municipality of Pirri, in order to avoid potentially dangerous situations for public safety.

According to the notice, it is advisable to avoid parking on Via Balilla (from Piazza Italia to Via Dandolo) and its adjacent streets: Via Italia, Dolianova, Sinnai, Settimo, Mara, Donori, Santorre Di Santarosa, Confalonieri, and Ampere. Cars parked on these streets can be moved to the Terramaini swimming pool parking lot on Via Pisano.
