The highest incidence of admissions of Covid patients in intensive care is recorded in Sardinia with a rate of 10.3 percent, the highest nationally, followed by Calabria at 10.1 percent and Abruzzo at 8. , 8 per cent (Italian average of 4.7 per cent).

While in the medical areas, Umbria has the highest occupancy value of beds with 34.6 percent, followed by Calabria with 34.3 (Italian average of 15.2 percent).

Umbria is by far the region with the highest incidence of Covid cases, 1,314. Followed by Puglia with 1,281, and Abruzzo with 1,167 per 100 thousand inhabitants. On the other hand, the Valle d'Aosta is lower with 345.

From the weekly monitoring of the ISS-Ministry of Health, a slight decrease in the weekly incidence in Italy emerges: 836 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (from 25 to 31 March) against 848 per 100,000 inhabitants in the previous week. In the period 9 - 22 March 2022, the mean Rt calculated on symptomatic cases was instead equal to 1.24 (range 1.14 - 1.31), an increase compared to the previous week (when it was equal to 1.12 ) and with a range that exceeds the epidemic threshold even in the lower limit.
