The lighthouse on Cavoli Island, in Villasimius, has reopened to visitors. Visits will be coordinated by operators from the Diomodea cooperative every day from 10 am to 1:15 pm (last visit 12:45) and from 2:15 pm to 4:45 pm (last visit 4:15 pm). An exhibition dedicated to the marine-coastal biodiversity of Villasimius has been set up inside the lighthouse.

The landings on the island at the Cala Ponente pier and at Cala Is Cascias are instead managed by volunteers from the Mari Nostru association. The opening of the lighthouse – as explained by the environmental education centre of the Marine Area – is in any case linked to the sea weather conditions.

To reach Cavoli Island you can contact the many operators present at the tourist port of Villasimius. The lighthouse will be open to visitors until September 5th.
