The reproductions of two Nuragic weapons stolen in Villasimius by two boys and then recovered thanks to the work of the firefighters and, in particular, of the commander Pier Luigi Casu, were returned to their owner this morning. The commander himself personally delivered them to Andrea Loddo.
The Nuragic weapons – two spears – were stolen from Piazza Margherita Hack at the end of an event dedicated to the Nuragic civilisation .
The two boys had been captured by the Municipality's video surveillance system . The officers , again thanks to the cameras, had also identified the cars with which they had left Villasimius . At that point the two boys (from the Cagliari area) returned the weapons to the local police command, saying they were sorry.
Satisfied the owner (and creator) of the Nuragic weapons Andrea Loddo: «Thanks indeed – he underlined – to the competence and professionalism of the commander of the local police. Villasimius presents itself as a model to follow in terms of safety and reliability».
