Villagrande, after the thefts 3 people reported: weapons seized

Three people were reported by the Carabinieri of Villagrande Strisaili for aggravated theft and illegal possession of ammunition.

After investigations into thefts, robberies and threats that had been going on for some time (at least 16 episodes), the town's military, together with the anti-crime squads of Arzana and Lanusei, the operational unit, the Hunters of Sardinia and with the use of dog units, seized 4 rifles and a pistol, all legally detained, but for which the regulations relating to the safe detention of the same were not respected, as well as ammunition for pistol and rifle, these illegally detained.

Also seized were 15 cartridges and some emery that would have been used for some thefts.

Also found cables from the Villagrande power plant and the insulating sheath. The power plant would have often gone haywire with the consequent inconvenience for the population.
