Yesterday evening, around 10 pm, in via Cagliari, in Villacidro, a 35 year old man attacked his parents with a pickaxe: both were rescued and taken to hospital: the prognosis is long due to the injuries sustained, but they have already been discharged.

The thirty-five-year-old was admitted to the Psychiatry ward in Carbonia: he will be reported for assault.

The Carabinieri intervened on site and are investigating the incident.
