Tragedy in Valledoria, along the mouth of the Coghinas river .
A 65-year-old fisherman from the area, Antonio Martinazzi, died while he was intent on fishing aboard his boat, which sank for reasons yet to be ascertained.
The boat would have capsized during the fishing activity and the man would not have been able to keep afloat weighed down by the uniform he was wearing , which pushed him under the water without giving him a chance.
To recover the body the team of divers of the fire brigade of the provincial command of Sassari, intervened with the helicopter to identify the exact point where the body was pushed by the current.
The Coast Guard, the local civil protection and the carabinieri of the Valledoria station are also on site.
