Urzulei, goat on the road: she skids with her motorbike and ends up on the ground, in hospital

The goat suddenly crossed and the motorcyclist was unable to avoid it. The impact was fatal to the animal, which died instantly, while the 40-year-old German woman ended up crashing onto the side embankment, suffering several fractures.
She was rescued by Echo Lima 3, the Areus helicopter that took off from the Elmas base. The accident occurred around 3:00 pm today at kilometer 178 of the Orientale, in the territory of Urzulei. The woman was traveling through the lower Ogliastra when, on a straight stretch, the goat passed in front of her.
The motorcyclist skidded and then fell onto the asphalt, ending up on the edge of the road . The other members of the group called 118 for help. A patrol from the Lanusei traffic police detachment, coordinated by commander Fausto Loddo, intervened on the spot for checks and technical surveys. The woman was transported to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro.
