The crawler cranes have freed the canal that runs along the 127bis "Settentrionale Sarda" state road, closed yesterday at kilometer 21.250 in Uri due to the flooding of the roadway. Intervention that involved the Nurra reclamation consortium with the intention of quickly restoring the safety conditions and the road system at one of the road junctions characterized by a strong traffic flow.

The abundant rains had caused the small stream to overflow and the state road between the junction of Rudas and Uri had become unusable. Anas was forced to interrupt the road system and ask for the collaboration of the Consortium which, with its own men and means, has since yesterday evening taken steps to free the waterway from debris, spontaneous vegetation and brushwood that obstructed its normal flow.

Although it is not within its competence, the consortium body immediately sent a team with a tracked backhoe loader. After several hours, road 127bis has now been reopened to traffic.
