Looking for unmissable opportunities on the web to buy pellets, he came across two scammers from Calabria.
The victim of the scam is a 67-year-old Uta pensioner who sent the sum of 4,340 euros by bank transfer.
Once the money has been collected, the two have disappeared , even from the site. So the 67-year-old, who wanted to secure pellets for at least three winters or resell them to earn something, showed up at the Uta police station who started the investigation.
The two scammers are a 51-year-old and a 36-year-old, both from Crotone and both already known to the police for similar precedents .
The soldiers were able to trace them by analyzing the telephone utilities used and the material recipients of sending the money. It is always good to pay attention to purchases on the web, which is full of pellet sellers, is the advice of the police.
