University of Sassari, an event against violence against women

The University of Sassari adheres to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women . Thursday at 9:30 the event “ #NOEXCUSE - Orange the World. Violence against women and good practices in universities: a focus on economic violence” opens. Organized by the University's Single Guarantee Committee (CUG).

A symbolic installation will be inaugurated in the university atrium , a project part of the Uniss Positive Action Plan (Training and Awareness Intervention Line).

The meeting will continue in the Aula Magna . Greeting addresses are planned by the Rector of the University of Sassari, Gavino Mariotti,   General Manager of Uniss,   John Mary Soro,   Of   Esther Cois,   President of the National Conference of Equality Bodies of Italian Universities (Counipar) and of   Maria Antonietta Foddai,   Delegate for the Gender Equality Plan-GEP of the University of Sassari.

Speakers include Elena Bigotti, Lawyer and Trusted Advisor of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, the University of Eastern Piedmont and the University of Valle d'Aosta,   Mia Caielli, President of the CUG of the University of Turin, Graziella Benedetto, President of the CUG of the University of Sassari, Tommaso Gazzolo, Member of the GEP Team of the University of Sassari, Maria Laura di Tommaso, Department of Economics and Statistics "Cognetti de Martiis" of the University of Turin, scholar of Gender Economics and feminist.
