Two mayors from Marghine represent the Nuoro area at the June 2nd parade in Rome

They will parade in the Imperial Forums with the colors of the province of Nuoro, which will be represented, following Anci accreditation, by two mayors of Marghine, such as Rita Zaru of the Municipality of Noragugume and Silvia Cadeddu of the Municipality of Birori. Both will parade in the parade on June 2nd, along the Fori Imperiali, with the presence of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.

«The choice was not random - says Silvia Cadeddu - but we wanted to represent two small communities, marked by depopulation, therefore by a crisis that is becoming more and more dramatic». Rita Zaru adds: «It is a great honor for me to virtually bring my community, the smallest in Marghine, to a ceremony of such high symbolic value, to signify an Italy whose framework is made up of small towns and to restore their dignity, claiming the attention they deserve."

The two mayors have been protagonists of great battles, both in the health and labor fields.
