A woman in her 30s was transported to Sirai Hospital by emergency medical personnel, who assisted the Misericordie di San Giovanni Suergiu and the Sirai medical unit after being hit on the slip road leading from the intermodal center to state highway 126. Local police officers from Carbonia were on site and reconstructed the accident and carried out investigations.

Another accident occurred on Provincial Road 74, which runs from Tratalias to Giba, in the municipality of San Giovanni Suergiu. The accident involved a man in his fifties, a resident of Tratalias, who, for reasons yet to be determined, crashed to the ground while riding a motorcycle on the provincial road.

Carabinieri officers, 118 Sulcis Emergenze personnel, and the ambulance arrived from Iglesias. The injured man was taken to Sirai Hospital in Carbonia. Initial reports indicate his life is not in danger.
