He disappeared late this afternoon and, after the family raised the alarm, a search plan was activated. A police officer, on duty in Ogliastra, left his home taking his service weapon with him.

To track down the forty-year-old, police, carabinieri, firefighters and forest rangers were set in motion, combing every corner of the area between Triei and Baunei, where his telephone cell was reportedly located. The police helicopter also flew over the area, while in the last few hours the search was concentrated in the countryside.

The firefighters are also intervening with the help of the canine unit and the SAPR which has used drones.

At the same time in Arzana a man, a guest of a protected community, went away but was intercepted along the provincial road 23. The Carabinieri of the Lanusei company also operated on the spot.
