Tragic accident this morning around 8 on the Olbia-Sassari at km 53, in the stretch between Berchidda and Monti , towards Sassari . Two cars involved.

The death toll is one person, Antonio Gavino Fois, aged 72.

The man was traveling with his wife and daughter in a Lancia Y in the direction of Sassari when the small car was violently hit by a Land Rover and thrown against the concrete embankment .

The 72-year-old died from his serious injuries. The man's wife and daughter and the driver of the other car were also injured.

Three ambulances, the air ambulance, the traffic police and Anas were on site.
