He wanted to sell a stolen accordion online, but he met the police at the meeting.
On Sunday evening, in Codrongianos, soldiers from the Sassari Company arrested a 36-year-old man for receiving stolen goods. He was caught with an accordion stolen some time earlier from a home in the province.
The owner, who had reported the theft, recognized the instrument in an online advertisement and reported it to the police.
The Carabinieri arranged a targeted search at the agreed-upon delivery location and apprehended the seller. The accordion was recovered and returned to its owner. The arrested man was placed under house arrest pending a validation hearing.
