Tragedy on the SP 15: Fabio Frau may have been crushed to death by his car
Due to a breakdown, the 56-year-old from Quartu got out of the car, which then moved, running him over.

A terrible fatality appears to be at the origin of the tragic death of Fabio Frau , a 56-year-old from Quartu , who died last night on the provincial road 15 which connects the Quartu coast to the old Orientale and the town of Maracalagonis.
The man stopped near Via Marco Polo, perhaps due to a breakdown in his Lancia or perhaps for some other reason, and the car then "slid" into him, moving suddenly on the asphalt and killing him.
Passing motorists raised the alarm, and an ambulance, officers from the Quartu Police Station and the Sanluri Highway Police subsequently arrived on the scene.
The firefighters freed the driver's body, and the body was then transferred to the Quartu cemetery.
