A sudden collapse of the dormer window, followed by the collapse of part of the roof. These were moments of great fear late yesterday evening on Via Piemonte, where an entire three-story building was evacuated. No injuries were reported, but five families had to find temporary accommodations for the night . A further inspection by the fire department is planned today to verify the building's safety and habitability.
The collapse occurred around 8:00 PM . Residents raised the alarm after hearing a loud noise: the dormer window suddenly collapsed, causing part of the top floor attic to collapse. Firefighters responded immediately, and initial checks revealed that the building was unsafe and the families needed to be evacuated.

Mayor Massimiliano Sanna also arrived on site to ensure that the affected families received all the necessary assistance promptly, including through the involvement of the municipal Social Services. Further assessments will be carried out tomorrow to evaluate the building's condition and determine the most appropriate interventions. " Based on the technical assessments, we will also identify ways to continue providing assistance to the affected families ," the Municipality announced.
